Elizabeth Harz

As a working mother of two, Elizabeth Harz experiences daily the challenges of finding, scheduling, communicating with, and paying the network of caregivers that helps raise her children. As CEO of Sittercity Incorporated, she oversees the leading platform connecting parents and caregivers. With experience at both consumer and B2B technology companies, Elizabeth enjoys applying her passion for technology with the child care industry.

Prior to Sittercity, Elizabeth was President of Media and CMO of ADARA, driving marketing strategy, accelerated revenue growth and operational excellence globally for the travel data start-up. Before joining ADARA, Elizabeth built the marketing services business at Chegg, the student hub. Elizabeth helped schools and the Fortune 500 connect with millennials through 360-degree marketing communications programs. She oversaw sales, business development, marketing and operations for the division.

Prior to Chegg, Elizabeth was Senior Vice President at Electronic Arts working across studios including EA SPORTS, EA GAMES, TheSims, Playfish and Pogo.com. Elizabeth managed sales, marketing, and operations globally, connecting marketers with gamers across all EA platforms, including console, web, social and mobile.

Earlier in her career, Elizabeth held a variety of executive and managerial roles at Yahoo!, CNET, ZDNet and PC Magazine. This year, she was honored in Chicago’s TechWeek100 as an Established Leader. Elizabeth serves as an adviser to several startups, lives in New Jersey with her husband and two daughters, and loves being on a beach or ski slope with the three of them.
